I've pulled the trigger on a Honda S2000. Many of you read my review on the car ...and well.... as they say I put my money where my mouth is. I'm still a Nissan man at heart but respect must be given where it's due- Honda did this right. I suggest any enthusiast take one for a drive if you get the chance.

De O hold down the Nissan fort for me till I'm back...

As for me, I'm about to embark on a new journey :)

thanks. couldnt help but smile the whole way home :shiftdrive:

current plans are to leave it stock for a bit and see what's what. cant tune anything before you know what you want and what you have. also im completely new to the honda world and especially the s2ks which are a little different from most hondas (read: civics) altogether .

but having said that, i completely like it bone stock. so far, the only thing thats come to mind on upgrades is the stereo. beyond that im not sure what the next step might be.

I don't know what a 2jz at high boost feels like. if its anything like a 7m then that s2000 would feel like you're riding an ICBM. At launch. On a cloudy day.

Last night I was driving the G again though, I'll definitely miss it :cry:

btw i ended up getting RE01R bridgestone tires for it. they're awesome tires. highly recommended if you're in the market...

traction rating is 140 A / A. im told they offer better dry grip than say, the RE050A PP tires. but they do it at the cost of wet traction - which is poor enough to draw down the traction rating from AA to A. despite that, id say they still feel good in the wet. on the dry they're awesome... very quiet and comfortable too...
