It's fast becoming the talk of the internet. A group of Porsche guys from 6speedonline rented out MIR for some private racing, and one of them invited a Corvette C6 Z06 owner...
Let's skip straight to the results. The Z06 was able to clock in an ET of 10.98 and a terminal/trap speed of almost 129mph on factory runflat tires. The car was all stock, setting a new record for the Z06, and also one of the fastest times of any production car at the strip.

Tens all stock on street tires.
I know what you're thinking now...and that's what they were thinking too: what would happen if they put drag radials on it? Well because it was so cold, it was difficult to get the tires to really hook like they should, but eventually a 10.83 @ 130mph was achieved.
Now it must be said, the conditions were better than ideal- the track, Maryland International Raceway, is 20ft above sea level and ambient temperatures were in the 40 degree range. The driver said he was hooking so hard that he didn't think drag radials would yield a significant improvement- he thought the only thing limiting him was his technique. Indeed, many others there set their own personal bests that day.
To be sure, the Z06 is an epically FAST car (similarly fast around the Ring as well), and very low 11s are often achieved in C6 generation Z06s that are 100% showroom-stock, on many tracks throughout the US.
On an unrelated note, I came across these shots of a blue Z06, which I thought looked so good I had to share.
