I'm not sure why this isn't getting much attention, but this is some serious hotness. Mitsubishi needs to get its act together and bring it to market. If they could pin it in the mid/upper $20k range, life would be good...

Unfortunately, Mitsubishi has given this concept a diesel engine putting out about 200hp and 300lb-ft. While the torque is nice, the horsepower is much lower- and that's what you need to really accelerate. On the other hand, Mitsu says the concept has the Evo's underpinnings including its AWD system. So then, maybe we're looking at the next generation Eclipse? I definitely hope so...
