What you see here is the NRE Twin Turbo MT900. It has 1800hp. Yes, one thousand and eight hundred hosepower.

The car weighs about 1,980lbs (again, no typo) as it is made from full carbon fiber (even the wheels). It also has air conditioning and a leather interior. The engine is a 427LSX Twin Turbo with twin injectors per hole, octane on demand, and gear & rpm based turbo boost pressure control.

With what is essentially a 1:1 power to weight ratio...and so much power on tap... the 0-100-0 will surely be scary....if it finds anything resembling traction. Sometime next year, the car will be unveiled and hit the news... For now though, consider yourself in the know.

In other MT900-related news, it has come to my attention that a stock MT900 is being tested on numerous tracks across Germany, including the 'Ring. While I can't quote the exact target times, I can say that they're hoping to set a new 'Ring record....by an unbelievably wide margin. We'll see what happens. As always, I'll keep you updated.
