Okay I'm not a Vette fan- nor am I in the market for one, much less one that costs $100k... but this is hot. The new 2009 ZR1 is going to be awesome. This car will own the streets, and only a handful of other cars might be able to do anything about it...
...and today we now have confirmation of the powerplant: the ZR1 will be powered by the LS9.
The LS9 appears to be a supercharged version of the 6.2L LS3, with a twin intercooler mounted atop the supercharger. We don't know the output but it's guesstimated to be in the 650hp range. <!--more-->
