Big news today: Automotive News is reporting that Toyota will be bringing back the Celica for sale in 2009. Although the article said that the Celica would go on sale in Europe, its very likely that the car will also be on sale in other parts of the world as well, including the US and Japan. Will this be the rumored low cost RWD car that's been hinted at before? Time will tell. There's more from camp Toyota though, as the world's largest car company also announced that they opposed the idea of imposing new speed limits on Germany's Autobahn. It's good to see that Toyota still cares about driving...

Dunno why I never fully embraced these. Though I have to agree with Freddie.

only issue is the older celicas were expensive- well into the $20k range. with the 350z basing at $28k, that forces the market lower. On the lower side the market isn't really bound now though- dodge no longer sells a good srt4, so i guess the car to beat would be the civic si.

this is true but every thing Toyota makes is expensive but you get what you pay for....!
