If you are reading this, you are probably a car fan of some sort. You are either a purest who enjoys all automobiles or you are a segment fan with a particular affinity. I consider myself the latter yet every so often I am forced to extend my circle to include another class of car. Today, limos have joined my circle in specific, the Maybach 625 Landaulet. <!--more-->

It’s not like I have not heard of the Maybach before nor is it because I have not admired from afar the craftsmanship and technology associated with these cars. Before now, I just could not see the utility. I enjoy luxury but not total disconnection. And that is the difference with this offering. I could envision myself in it. The roof gone, open sky, soaking in ultra luxury. A fella could reach a whole other plane of thought in this thing.

The scoop: chauffer/ passenger privacy panel that turns opaque at the touch, suspension AIRMATIC DC (Dual Control) and the Adaptive Damping System (ADS II) for a cloud type ride, independent climate controls that keep you feeling right even in the open air.

Seychelleswhite leather adorns everything. Large, internally ventilated brake discs to help stop the 612 horse power generated by the uprated V12 engine which Maybach engineers have developed together with the specialists at Mercedes-AMG. And this is just a summary. Its specs like these that make it impossible for me to ignore the study currently known as the Landaulet.
