Unfortunately there`s no wifi. So I`m posting off a Japanese keyboard in the press center which is overpacked. Too many people, too few computers. As I walked in first thing I saw was the new Ferraris. They are epic. I`ll be posting updates here later on tonight, reporting back on what we`re seeing. We already have some space at the Nissan booth but we arent sure how long that will last. That`s our priority. BTW Already getting some great shots. Will post another update later on.

Apologies for the lack of updates. It's been CRAZY.

Uploading pics tonight.

Short story is that the press brief was to start at 1:50

at 1:40 or so two screens opposite the top of the circular arena moved together with a center screen to form three large screens.

then they showed the 'ring.

they then showed a G35 highly modified... engineers working on it. wheels/tires/etc. then the G moving along the ring

then they showed a GT-R...again engineers working on it...again moving along the ring while engineers took notes, worked on the car, etc

then they had a GT-R going all out and a timer started.

they had a map of the track + a driver's view and the timer.

THEY SHOWED A 7min 38sec LAP ON THE RING

it stopped in red. Ghosn came out. GT-R drove on stage. it was 1:50pm.

it was epic.

in person, the car is amazing. 7:38 lap time is crazy. the only cars faster are the zonda and the carrera gt. AND THE TRACK WASNT DRY :rofl: :bowdown:

After that, we got invited to a private party Nissan was holding at a club in the Roppongi district. They had demos of the new Need for Speed :cool: and the devs/senior game creators were on hand to talk to. Very cool.
