lol no man not at all..is it only after you release the throttle like a slight back fire..do you have any mods on it..filter,exhaust what not. Bike plugs are cold plugs. Could just be your ecu is running rich alot of times bikes have an emissions(those that didn't come with cats or o2 sensors) that they had to meet causing alot of reused exhaust to run threw again. My bike girggles a slight back fire once I let the throttle go from say 13,000rpm. Most just fix this by plugging one of the emission tubes with a marble or end cap.

Yea it only happens when I rev high and I release the throttle she back fires pretty hard. Only mods is Power Commander, Exhaust (Slip On), and K&N Filter..... But I never did anything with the Power Commander. I just plugged it in.:dunno:

Yeah mine does the same thing, no theres nothing wrong with spark plugs, there are recirculation hoses that some people plug up for this reason..if you have a base map on the PCIII then you could look to get a map but unless you go into the software and tune the fuel curve most maps depending n exhaust come pretty rich since an intake and exhaust cause the ECU to lean out some. Pretty much its just after burn that is causing that. No real issue there. If you want you could go into the software and change your cylinder fueling for each cylinder..don't adjust more than +/- 1 degree across the board. I set mine to from cylinder 1-4...0(1) -1(2) -1(3) 0(4) since 1 and 4 fire first and 2and 3 taking on the remainder of the cycle. You can adjust to how you feel though. Best to get it dynojet'd up there before you bring her down and just get a custom made map which is better since you have dynos to tune and the Low,mid, high buttons on the PCIII to fine tune..but be careful with doing that. Each notch is +/- 2 points of your fueling across the board. I adjust mine -1 notch for (low) -1 notch for(mid) and +1 notch for(high) my (low) is from 0 RPM to 6,000 my (mid) is from 6,300-9,500 and my (high) is 10,000-16,000 so with high my high Iwant it a lil rich just because of high compression of 12.5:1 and detonation being more pretects my motor better.

Cool. Might take it to a dyno today actually. But if its not going to harm anything then I might leave it. They want 150 for a full dyno and tune with 3 pulls.

thats not bad if there making you a map but if its not a dynojet certified tuner don't even waste your time my bwoy..serious. If it is you get a map or you might be able to push 2 maps one for the street one for spirited driving and get to see what shes putting down..I'd be impressed to see the torque on it not so much HP since power t oweight is still crazy for that motor...
good to hear you doing good BAI... get well soon..:)

haha most things do now adays for aerodynamics..and lightweight..gottah love those V-twin KTM's..but those german bikes are pretty expensive not being BMW's though thats why I wouldn't buy one..and parts are either are to have stocked or always on back order from germany..friend had a KTM enduro 450 here and just to get the clutch cylinder which had leaked and blown out took a month to get here from germany...not fun when having to repair or swap parts.
