the new evo is slated to use the 4b11, a 2.0L DOHC MIVEC engine.
mitsubishi is claiming that this engine will have a higher output than any other evo engine before it, and that the new evo will be more similar across market than any other evo before it.

there's no official release date on the new evo. rumors point to late this year or early next. regardless, the car seems very far in development as the base lancer is already out and evo x test mules have been spotted on the street.

i agree about the auto but mitsu is trying to sell the car to more people.........
all you can hope for is that the new engine will be good and the stick will be adequate :(

i don't know about it being to greatest 2.0 but the 3sgte does just as good as the 4g63.

Also false facts......... Honda tuning did an article in which they boosted a stock block b16 to 507hp@24psi. I case u did know thats 1.6L. Get The facts Str8.

Actually the AWD celicas where gods in there time...they made a name for themselfs and toyota in the WRC. wish I could get my hands on one but now days there very rare mostly found in Japan...:bowdown: next favorite AWD next to a Subaru, and the only honda that I'd ever own Civic type R..both very rare cars...you more likely to get your hands on a Type R integra than on a civic..(mind U a true civic R not just engine swap...)

C'mon now... from factory 4G63's are pushing out 18-20psi at about 276hp... AEM-EMS+Bigger Fuel Injectors+Alcohol Inj.and 268cams= 30psi (on factory td05hr (16g) Turbo) at about 330-340hp... with NO PROBLEMS... Face it... These engines are factory born BOOST WHORES...

i have seen quite a few type r integras. i have never once seen a true type r civic. and the celica 4tracs are pretty hard to find but i have actually seen one of them.

yeah you got the whore part right:rofl::rofl::rofl: what would a honda engine make on 30 psi???????? im sorry 30psi and you haven't cracked the 400hp mark yeah i would say whore is just about right.
