Last I checked, the average street car here isn't sub 10. Hondas can be made to be competitive and there are Hondas in the VI that can beat a lot of cars at the track. Some people have a love for Honda Motor Co. and drag racing. They love their cars, what they can do with them, and have fun in the process. There's nothing wrong with that.

I don't know or care where these feelings are coming from. I know the talk at isles. That the RXs are slow and unreliable and think their gods gift. That the 'Mitushitties' always break. That none of the cars in ERD can run. That the Neons don't belong on the track with the 'real cars'.

StreetSeen was created to benefit the community and bring everyone together, not fragment it for no reason. It caters to people from all walks of life. There are people on this site with millions of dollars to their names and can afford almost anything. And there are others, who are operating on budgets- large or small. There are people that drive 18+ second cars, and some sub 10 sec. But there's one thing all of these individuals share: it's a love of cars. That's what StreetSeeen is about- Everyone.

I'm not missing a Time Attack session in NC and time with Chuck, AMS, Forged Performance and my NAGTROC partners and friends to watch this community start to get broken apart on such an important weekend here as this. What happens at Isles is fine. I've heard the talk myself. I've been told that the GT-R can get it on "any road", and that the owner is "afraid" of the car...and more recently, that I should race a certain Honda. Yes I know the feeling of being hunted, of haters, doubters, skeptics. BY ALL MEANS address them and put them in their place. That's fine. I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about the relentless global bashing of anything Honda and any Honda owner, which doesn't make sense.

At the end of the day we're all enthusiasts. Some jokes are fine but we've clearly gone way beyond that, and it's time to stop.

I own a Honda. I am very cool with a number of other Honda owners although there are also Honda owners I'm not as cool with and still others I don't know. I think many of you can say the same as me. I hope to see them out this weekend and on our Sunday ride out. In a day and age where we just might lose the track and the street cars in particular need to have some sense of camaraderie, this is ridiculous. This continued bashing is getting old. It doesn't reflect well on yourselves and isn't a credit to the community. It's a showing of ignorance.

So address the haters, challenges, etc. Do what you gotta do, but the joke's run its course.

honda's still suck! and why should we stop? why is it that when we mess with them it's a big deal, shit! they only get what they dish out. the only one that doesn't get worked up is Dale, and mehsehmikey! and a few others. lots of time it just a bunch of talking from dem and no action. i bet 70% and up can't even beat my cuz rolla! which aint even anything close to fully built...and thats right i said it CAN'T BEAT HIM!!!! basically it all comes down to this! we all bash each other all the time and on a daily.why is it you aint see any of us crying! how much time i have been called slorolla and even you Tekk laugh....its not a big deal to me because i know what i have and i know what i can build so none of that stuff aint going to fase me. these guys feelings get hurt because the stuff we say it true.....and the truth does hurt.

i can see where tekk is coming from........... but come on you gotta have a sense of humor, if you cant laugh at yourself it just makes everyone else laugh harder at you. i have heard my fair share of rotary bashing and bashing my car personally on this site. all it makes me wanna do is prove myself and my car. which i feel i have done, and will continue to do........ its all about love for cars and i have admitted i loved my civic. i give nuff respect to dales car and countless other honda's as drag cars. i give more than enough respect for tekk and jo's s2000's, i loved lito's NSX:bowdown: people constantly hate on my car and ME personally but at the end of the day i know what i have and what i can do. i suggest everyone learn to do the same.

I Completely Agree with Mr.Tekk and the only reason i made that Like/Dislike Thread was just to hear people's oppinions not for one to talk shit about the other. The whole week on a daily basis there was a new video or thread specifically made bashing Honda's or there Owners. I could honestly care less what anybody has to say about Me/My Honda's because that is the Platform i chose to modify just like the Mitsu, Rotary, Nissan, Ford, Chevy Guys, etc.. Alot of threads get DeRailed on the first two post's on this site which just continue's into Several Pages of Useless Shit Talking about this or that Persons Car when the Original Thread had nothing to do with that. I'm also one if NOT the only PERSON that commented on all those Honda threads because yea they were funny, but it got Old after seeing a New Post Daily Regarding a HonduRRR. But who cares we all should be into cars for the same reason, whether its making them go fast, handle well, look good at Car Shows or anything the OWNER feels like Spending there money on!!!
