View Full Version : Dual Pump Hangers

Gone are the days of the inline pumps and the need to make your street car look like a dedicated track car. This system uses two walbro 255LPH bumps that are very quiet compared to the the noisy inline pumps. One walbro has been used to build 602 horsepower so you can do the math,.

umm thats really over kill for a street car though..unless you ca nswitch one off or one can take over when a pressure drop is noticed. If that is the case then that shit is pretty cool. Or the flick of the switch when you notice fuel pressure is low or dropping so you don't damage your motor.

So u tellin me..... That u want to flip a switch halfway through your rpms to turn the other pump on? Then turn it back off when ur in lower rpms?
Cuz thats fuckin retarded......
Y not have a window switch?

In fact you are far from being right. The user is suppose to know what their fuel demand is and from there they would either run one intake pump or the hanger. The dual pump hanger is to provide fuel volume, so on a boosted street car it would be perfect. All-motor cars do not have the same thurst for fuel as a force induction car, so it might not be sensible to run a dual hanger in them.

Hmmm well I know ppl who have done setup where you can activate other pump under certain amout of boost ...
But I do feel its perfect for a high power street car.... cant go wrong..
But my setup is like this which they both work 2gether.....

don'y you feel stupid now like street stated was what i was talking about reason being is to me would be that running two pumps as reliable as theyare.....lol no comment to those that just replaced ;) you'd be replacing to pumps over one if u run them at the same time but doesn't replace the fact that this set up is pretty cool just most FI street cars are fine with a 255 or more pump....reason being its a very good reliable set up,but is this needed like you stated with HP up there....I see the reliability part to be awesome aswell as fuel delivery.

as good as this setup seems! Me being a person that like cars that other companies will never spend time building stuff like dual pump hangers, i'll stick with the aeromotive A1000 pump. i'm not worried about the noise because i think with the idle with my 289 turbo cam, i won't hear the pump.
bump non the less, for those of you that they do make these hangers for should jump on them. and for those that think the both will run at the same time! well if ou get a real stanalone like haltec you can run one all the time then turn the other on when you are at high boost...you know turn it on only when you need it.
