Unfortunaley, La Maijailin had engine problems so the match race was cancelled. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Cuajo and his crew for the opportunity to run with them and to say how sorry we were that they had these problems. But we know they will be back stronger than ever. We are working with the promoters to attempt to run this race again in the near future. So stay tuned.
Our opponents breakage didnt happen until the evening of the match so before that, it was business as usual getting ready for the race!!!
We arrived in Puerto Rico on Wednesday afternoon and worried that after having the car in storage for 2 months we were frankly a little concerned for the engines welfare. So needless to say the first thing we did was pull the car out and start it. Surprisingly it started right up and sounded great!!!!! I guess the Celica loves the warm weather of Puerto Rico!!!
