I see you now to do some good research on a 135i:cool: why would you take it from a street to a race class even when it would still be a disadvantage. If you want to race, the car is going to race as it came from the factory..its not running drag radials,turboback exhaust or and ECU upgrade. The individual is willing to run the car as it came stock..why you want to bring all these high tuned cars to run up against the person(maybe its cause your scared and don't know what to expect):cool: Thats why i asked VR4 his car is pretty close to stock or probably equal:dunno: So when you decide leh me know cause it seems you people just like to take a simple factory tuned car against a car which has been parts up and then beat that person with two fairly good drivers and say yeah I held my own when in actuality you needed to be in a safe zone for critisism from your peoples...So leh me know yo if not forget I said anything cause all I'm hearing is :blah:

yeah a long time before the 135 came out bmw had brought out the 335. i did a lot of research on that car and its drivetrain including the n54 motor. its a good motor and i think bmw have done good things with it. personally i dont view it as gods gift to engineering as many others might (its VERY highly regarded in the bmw community and among enthusiasts in the segment in general) as i still prefer their S65 motor in the new M3, but i think its very good nonetheless. anyway one of the impressive things with it is that you can get a good bit more power with just a tune + exhaust side mods.

i dont know what you mean by street and race class. all too often the words get confused. do you consider the white rx to be race class? :dunno: i dont know personally and it doesnt matter to me- i dont drag race- but most people modify their car for the drag strips- at least tires and fuel.

either way, the info on the mods is needed to determine a fair race, because on that car its possible no one would know.. until you line it up with something that should be a far race and the 135 walks on it.

you are right on the latter, i dont know what to expect because i dont know the owner or THAT car. i do know THE car, so with the info above i could suggest races that SHOULD be close IF thats what the owner is looking for, given the current state of the car.

however, having said that, this race stuff gets very personal very fast. not saying you or he would, but i can give an example of someone who says they have stock fuel maps and minimal mods but in fact they arent running as they claim. does it really matter to me? no, i know roughly how they should run and would recommend accordingly.

its obvious TO ME what a modified 135 can do under the right conditions, so if i were to see it i would know it and call it as such, period.

the 135 vs m3 might be a good race too. the m3 is ordinarily a tenth or two faster han the 335i (and i would assume 135i). but the smgs are a tick or two slower than the stick....then again they likely wont be able to misshift... so i dont know it could be a drivers race under 1/4mi. all in all, would be an interesting race i think.

im basing what i say on my observations of the cars, i never saw 92vr4's time slips so i dont know, if he was running pretty even with dread that should be a good run too.

Well you wouldn't need to know internals if its a stock set up with no maps no nothing...unless you require a look under the hood. Well most assume that tires and turning up the boost is a modification so what is what. Again what you are use to seeing may not be what is at stake right now so...simple as that. Anyways no need to debate on this...its a friendly race...again I personally don't think the VR4 is equal to the impreza in manyways..sure one as my liking but second not in gearing or take off...sure maybe topend but thats another reason why EVO's and Imprezas have no top end..there need and there gearing. Seems like money is going to have to be the out come of this cause a friendly race turned out to a complete track event soo..do what you do and leh me know. Peace.

Not to mention unreallistic cowards. To even suggest that the Barber race against Hill St's Rx-7, come on, where is the compition in that? And to make a lot of false claims about who is the fastest race car or street car on St.Croix without ever proving it is just wrong fellas. Now I love racing more than anyone, building a car for that purpose, when completed, will race,....period! That's how you do it.

I have personally seen cars with more power an faster loose to slow less power cars over an over again.. driver talk unless its a mile race...

Perfect example... dread an 92vr4 .. dread is a better light/driver more seat time But 92vr4 put down a better time on the track that time they ran... Now if you put the guy who drove rey rey car then that would be different race..

As for the rx7 why do you think 100% of the time they want hubert brother to drive the car because his not a good driver,But the car can ran really good with a good driver.. About being disadvantage YES an NO .. with hubert driven yes but his brother NO ..... If that race with the neon an hubert brother driven the neon would win all day.. even the magnum beat the rx7 alrdy ... :rofl: :rofl:

That's one of the reasons why i like living up here in the mainland,..racing here is straight forward, run what you brung! I remember listening to dem man talking about what your car have and what they don't have....i got tired of that. Belive it or not that HP is basically what 99% of what those RX7 run in the touge with a decent turbo where they maximize they preformance to a (T) I would love to build a south shore demond but I like HP :rofl: plus my turbo setup might not allow me to be where I would like to be meaning(power range)... I'm sure I can get it with a lil tuning on the timing @ 10psi.. I will be about 350hp to 380hp which is perfect... With timing I can control how I want the turbo to come on...etc...

It has no brakes at the moment... lol.. Its not holding the fluid for very long....

The 11s pass was with a 335i


with raffie driven the goat cant run a 12.....so if raffie really driven the 135i have it in the bag....the 335i is about 300lbs more than the 135i....i saw raffie drive the goat against a 14 second car and he lost the 1st won and bearly won the second race...

And your retarddasion shows me that the wound is healing quite nicely on your forehead from counting your feet while walking causing you to fall over heals...thats what I said it did 11's and it still had an over stock tune..so read before posting bruds I keep telling you this it was the driver's if the 135i did a good run of 13's and the GTR did an 11 but was tuned doesn't this say something:squint: why but you think I'm just bashing you..:dunno: the GTR had a full exhaust and mild tune so if stock its running lets say a 11.67 not accurate but just saying...and it runs a 11.86 with a tune..its either driver error or the atmosphere conditions that are being driven in.....:squint:

i dont think none of you guys was there for that race and both race was for money!! the goat pass the other car right by the line because from the starting line know one could of tell who won the race we all had to wait for the judge who held the money to say the goat won and yes the car he run against probably weight 5000lbs and was a automatic and lead both race of the line.....
