Yes. You read that right.
A Honda enthusiast in Charlotte, NC by the name of Dave decided enough was enough with his NSX: It was a great car, but it was too expensive to maintain and he always worried what might happen to it while he was driving. So what did he do about it? Took an Integra and modified it to be mid-engined and rear drive.

He started with a theft-recovered 94 Integra GSR as well as a wrecked 97 Prelude VTEC. His aim was to build the car to have a weight balance of 45/55 f/r with a total weight of less than 2700lbs while spending under $10,000.

Getting the project done required extensive fabrication- which is his expertise (he said he plans on using the car to support a fab. business he would like to start- and that he might consider building cars like it for others). The fabrication went beyond merging a Prelude and Integra though- he also fabricated a number of tools, just to get the job done to his specifications.

The end result though is a very unassuming work of art. The car's been thoroughly re-engineered, with everything from suspension geometry to weight balance and brake bias accounted for. What else can be said but, job well done.
