Nissan just released the Dualis in Europe, which is the Euro version of our Rogue. Packing a 2.5L 4 cylinder engine mated to a CVT transmission, the Rogue is expected to cost about $20,000, slotting it below the Murano when it is released this fall here in the US.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, the Japanese Financial Paper The Nikkei brings us news that Nissan plans to bring as many as three new subcompact cars to the US.

Those cars include the new redesigned Cube, and possibly others such as the March and Micra as well. The cars are expected to be priced below the Versa, and are expected to debut next year.

Lets hope Nissan brings some excitement to the segment while they're at it. For instance, this street-legal Nismo Micra is rolling with 265hp, a fully revised suspension, Brembo brakes, roll cage, and more...although its release was limited to the UK, one can only hope they make such offerings in the US....
