Hey Street. Nice ride! How far were you from E-Town? I was there mostly during 2003 and 2004. Your car look very familar, I think I may have seen you then!

Tell them street the best riding performance and look will all boil down to 18's at the most not 19's not 20's..VR4 does it really matter if there staggered or are you looking for that deep dish look. Volk Racing rims are very good rims light strong...did you have to recamber the tires with the tires and suspension on it. Car looked just as nice stock to be honest...but of course mother nature makes black lip platics or any other for that matter turn pale but who cares.looks good before and after.

I cant have staggered rims. My awd setup has a VCU which will blow the fudge up if the rim/tire combo in the front is over 1% different than the back. Theres a bunch of math and a way to figure out how to have staggered rims and keep it under 1% but i dont remember how

you can have staggered front and rear maybe half an inch to an inch..many subbies do it haven't seen it on a VR4 but I'm sure you can still stagger them.

hmmm if you wanted to keep the front rolling diameter within 1% of the back, and allow staggering, you will need to lower the sidewall of the rear in proportion to the added width.
front tire = A/B/C (for example 245/45/18.. A=245 B=45 C=18)
rear tire = X/Y/Z (X = the new and wider rear tire width you want, Y=the sidewall you'd need to keep the computer happy, Z=C since presumably you will run the same diameter wheels front and rear)
(0.01*B*A*0.03937)/(0.0003937*X)=Y
remember you can only get X and Y in 5mm increments

so in other words in the mathematical way yes you can I've seen this done on alot of AWD's just not in the rear only you can really mess up your diffs just by switch different thread and compounds..whch u see alot of down here..say your fronts are worn which usually happens on an AWD car the fronts get worn which most people will just rotate but say your rear is good and your fronts need changing switching tires alone can cause your diff to slowly become damaged by this even from the same tires but new.
