thanx for al the warm welcomes, but yeh i aint see dat vid, saw the one of him running deh bmw. and dat shit is mad quick about a second faster than me as of right now. on the track i ran high 14's wit my stock accord transmission, and stock 1.5 inch piping. hoping to upgrade to 2.5 piping soon and get the h22 transmission for deh shorter gears.

Anybody remember Curtis Canton's Blue Accord? Automatic 4 door w/ n2o. I think he was running high 12's. That thing wasn't that bad before he wrecked it at Hess school light street racing. No one's built one since.
They are a bit heavy for a fwd drag racer, but u can overcome some of that.

He ran a ton of juice, and he had a pretty built engine w forged internaals. And yeah, I don't know why he picked that either. Maybe he just wanted to be different.

But, my point was more that he too chose the accord platform. he also claimed those numbers while bench racing so...
But the person who's supposedly fixing that car to bring it back on the street should have his head examined.
I had a set of Enkie rpo1's that were 19lbs without tires so 18's can be light. It's the lack of sidewall that makes them bad for standing launches.

welll when i took my car to the track it was running 15 flat with just the h22 and headers. since then i upgrade piping to 2.5in straight pipe, got the shortest geared h22 transmission, and got it tuned on the dyno for 194 whp and 156 tq lb. accords with these numbers ran 14.2 - 14.5. my interior is stripped n gutted removing all backseats and panels trunk lining spare tire etc. so im hoping to run 14.2 all na. thats my goal before i go turbo. seems pretty reasonable being im not fully built just with basic bolt ons.

trap speed was 94 mph, it was also cold out which made the car run better. and raffie, the h2b kit does not fit in the accord frame, only option for accords are h22 transmissions. m2b4 which is the jdm lsd. t2t4 which is the shortest geared h tranny from a euro r accord. and m2f4 which is non lsd but second shortest geared h tranny. also h23 trannys also but not effective enough for 1/4 mile because of long third gear. i also shift at 8k rpm i stay in vtec through out all gears. i got the m2f4 tranny

Nope,about 2700-2900..The wagon is about 3000-3200.Hope your not reading the sticker in the door.Even wikipedia say 2,728 lb (1,237 kg).Check it out next time you go to the track.Even a ser alitma is about 33XX.

yea the sticker in the door is usually gross vehicle weight (gvwr) and not the real weight (curb weight). the gvwr is the max allowable weight...

yeh i saw it say in wiki about 2.7k but that measurment was from a dx model. the gvwr in the door is about 4125. 2.7k weighg is the dx model im assuming adding abs, sunroof, power door locks and air conditioning, spoiler, disc brakes front n back, all that shit would increase it to the 3k area.
then u got to take into considertion that the accord sedans are lighter than the accord coupes. i still haven t found the exact fact of the weight for a 93 ex coupe but im thinking maybe 2900 is closer to being correct after searching a lil more.

well atleast im learning something that highlighted in bold is new news to me. i always heard the coupe was heavier than the sedan but that was from hear say. where did u get this info 3tc id like to read up more.
