I'll take an opened track return road or no. Especially opened at 1/4 mile again.

I know that Vince and the other people in the CDRA have been working hard to keep the reopening going forward.:bowdown:

We'll try to get down there. Working on getting a project out but will try to get down and hear what's up.

lol OK we had the quote drag racing meeting .. We are still in the same boat from day one.. No progress... Now they are planning on do ah pitition for the track which they should have done it from day 1... But beside that ,will let others put in there 2cents..

I will be street racing but not my Rx7.. Not after its painted..... But the cressupra... Most definitely... I also got my eyes on another project.. Rotary of course... Thats for next yr tho after cressida is done... Yo cuz dont say ah word... lol...

Well I have seen 2 street race since track have been close... VI-EVO can vouch for that.. lol..

CIVIC vs 350Z = CIVIC WON 2wice
EVO vs MAZDASPEED3 = MAZDASPEED3 WON...
Which I still feel evo would beat him in ah quarter mile.. lol..
Both the races was 1/2 a mile...

with a better launch (damn that 4K rev limiter) i would of definitely beat him to the quarter... but after that his turbo came to life... and my little ol 16g just couldn't hold him pass the top of 4th Gear... O'Well u win some... u lose some...

sh!t...I'd like to see a rotary miata...seems like that lil beast should have came with one from the factory..instead you see small block swaps to the engine bay...not to big on ugrading suspension for that..aswell as rear end swap but owell....:bowdown: then I'd say this is an unstoppable beast....hmm now that I think about it...that seems like a pretty cool project to think into....rotary swaps are pretty easy to come buy..lol 3 rotor would be just insane......:eek:

I would also love to do that swap/project miata/rotary... But would need sponsers ... VIZuki would be 1st on my list for sponsers.. lol..

back to the original post, i was listening to a radio talk show yesterday and the host for the show was criticizing the public work dept. for NOT issuing the money the governmet appropriated the cdra, which i think is 400,000...the commisioner for the dept. of public call the talk show and said he will release the money in two weeks....so let see what happen.....

Hmmm!!! welll they been release 1/2 of the money long time ago... But also remember the money thats being release was the balance they OWE VI PAVING...:eek: :eek: :( ....

So now the track is still in Nigotiation with the 2 partys.... government an renaissance....

Also Drag Racing Association are in need of ppl to help them out.... Its gonna take awhile before the track reopen because STX ppl dont stand 2gether (cough)(cough)...;)
