i was driving the other morning in west near the police station and then lo and behold there was an beautiful red 3rd gen rx-7.

Hey streetrx7, there is no doubt that the rx7 that was seen down west was my cousins old ride... he bought it off ebay sometime mid last year... and trust me.... that thing MOVES... i think he got into an accident where minor cosmetic damage was involved... dont know if the new owner got the body fixed or not... here it is...

so whats the progress with getting this rx on the road. getting lonely here:dunno: actually took mine on the highway last night. got coming back and i noticed it was lacking power and i realized what it was as soon as i realized i wasnt hearing the BOV. :squint: had me worried though but then i heard street rx7's words in my head.

watch the video with a little less (AWD is god) bias next time. you will notice the rx is completely off the gas going into the turn and completely on in the exit. while the subaru was franticly clawing at full throttle the entire time. I know I will never get through to you so im gonna stop trying. just give the rx its due credit as we have given the subaru even when it lost. and just to be fair I don't think I have ever seen another car beat that rx on the touge. yes its just that fast. I give the subaru mad props for being competitive. they are both extremely fast cars but that rx is just hard to f#ck with. awd or not.........

-too many rumors going around and getting mixed up with facts
-there's not enough owner to owner talk
-not enough knowledge, too much ignorance
-not enough resources

i hope and think that a reopening of the track will help, so people can run again and the focus of discussion can shift to be more on them- those who race.

i also hope and think streetseen can help, share knowledge and the overall enthusiasm for what we all do. at times i would think it impossible, but the more owners i meet the more hopeful i become.

no worse..fun till about the end of the old south shore cafe' road then turns to shit....leaking water pipes or run offs that turn the road into a pool(not fun when speeding down toward the first left turn doing 79-80 then you realize that damp section is almost half an inch of water) then u just have grassy point stretch with so many road patch's that I swore my arms where gona get pulled out of there sockets that or my B@lls where gona fall off ..deff not a fun raod anymore. Seems the fun roads start then finish less than a mile into the excitement...but thats what happens when you play cheap in paving roads, kinda makes you not even want to really drive out there and most places to drive traffic is so slow. Stop and go is really bad on your ride I personally freak of the fact of having to drive some where because I can't enjoy the ride.
